Certain features in the Point of Sale system are restricted based on a cashier’s permission level. If a cashier is logged in, and it is necessary to perform a restricted action, a manager can override the cashier’s login with their own login. To do this, press the MGR Menu button, and press Manager Login on the menu that is displayed. The system will then prompt for login information, and the manager can enter their own user number/PIN. After successfully logging in, all the features available to the manager will be available.
The system will automatically revert to the cashier’s permission level after the sale is completed, or the Logoff button can be pressed anytime during the sale to revert to the cashier’s permissions.
